“Muse Ukraine: Indomitable Spirit'' presents all-Ukrainian music programme, unveiling the long lost gems of musical and cultural heritage of Ukraine. Rising above the multitude of difficult historic times, past and present, this music honours the indomitable spirit of those who stand for the basis of humanity - a life in freedom and peace.
The concert is organised in cooperation with the Embassy of Finland in London and will take place at a venue in Kensington (details tbc) on Wednesday 13 September at 7 pm. Spaces are limited.
“Muse Ukraine: Indomitable Spirit” is a project of an ongoing collaboration between two award winning artists, Ukrainian-American violinist Myroslava Khomik and Finnish-British pianist Julia Wallin, who believe that the power of music can serve as the best communicative tool in most challenging times. They dedicate their unique programs to a message that serves a deeper purpose of cultural diplomacy, education, conversation and understanding of common values.
All proceeds of the concert will be donated to British-Ukrainian Aid to support relief and rescue operations in Ukraine.
The event will start with welcome drinks followed by the concert and a garden reception. The guests will have a chance to meet the musicians after their performance.
