The Ukrainian writer and journalist Daryna Kucheruk who will talk about her novel depicting the life of the Ukrainian immigrants living abroad.
Daryna will recite her poems and introduce her first novel “Чужі” on a tabu-subject of the illegal immigration. The book gives a fascinating account of immigrants’ life from behind-the-scenes and has already resonated with the Ukrainian diaspora in the UK.
The book launch will be followed by Q&A session with the audience.
“Чужі” – is a journalist’s portrayal of the political realities in Ukraine and a story about the hard fate of the Ukrainian immigrants living abroad. It’s also a love story.
